Ashish Bahl
Chairman and CEO
As Chairman and CEO of Acculynk, Ashish Bahl sets the company’s strategic direction and is responsible for P&L. Prior to joining Acculynk, Mr. Bahl founded Harbor Payments, Inc. in 2000 and served as the CEO until the company was purchased by American Express in December 2006, when he became the Senior Vice President of the EReceivables Business unit. Harbor Payments was the recognized global leader in the emerging electronic invoicing industry, and rated as one of the fastest growing technology firms by Deloitte in 2005.
Prior to founding Harbor Payments, Mr. Bahl was formerly at iXL where he was a Senior Vice President of iXL Ventures and the founder of iXL's Financial Services Practice Group (FSPG). The FSPG provided strategic and technology services to major financial institutions seeking to leverage the Internet for business advantage. Mr. Bahl grew the practice to the largest industry component within iXL, accounting for approximately 33% of the company’s revenue during 1998, the year of its IPO.
Prior to iXL, Mr. Bahl founded and served as the CEO of Exchange Place Solutions (EXPS), a firm focused on providing strategy and technology solutions to financial services institutions. EXPS' primary competence was within the area of electronic payments, including ACH, Wire, I-ACH, and SWIFT. Exchange Place Solutions was acquired by iXL in 1997.
Mr. Bahl holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. His civic responsibilities include Board positions in Leadership Atlanta, TIE, and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). As a recognized industry expert in emerging electronic payments, Mr. Bahl is on the Board of Moneta Corporation.
Nandan Sheth
President and COO
Nandan Sheth serves as President and COO of Acculynk. Mr. Sheth's responsibilities cover corporate development, business development, marketing, alliances, product strategy, client services, consumer adoption and merchant acquisition. Before joining Acculynk, Mr. Sheth co-founded Harbor Payments where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Harbor Payments was sold to American Express in December 2006 where Mr. Sheth served as a Vice President & General Manager within the Global Commercial Card group.
Prior to Harbor Payments, Mr. Sheth started a payment technology company which served the credit and receivables industry. Mr. Sheth has also worked at major banks, professional service firms and Fortune 1000 corporations across North America and Europe. Mr. Sheth has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Deloitte & Touche, AT&T, IBM and has worked with clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, HSBC, LloydsTSB and National Westminster Bank.
Mr. Sheth holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Computing Science from City University (London, UK) as well as an MBA from Cass Business School (London, UK).
Tim Barnett
Chief Technology Officer
Tim Barnett brings over ten years of Technology and Operations expertise in the payment industry to Acculynk. Mr. Barnett is responsible for the company’s technology direction and delivery of Acculynk’s value proposition to the market. Before joining Acculynk, Mr. Barnett was founder and President of Catalyst Payments. Previously, Mr. Barnett was Chief Operational Officer of InterCept Payment Solutions (IPS), a credit card and ACH processing company. Prior to IPS, Mr. Barnett was an executive with Spectrum EBP and NOVA Information Systems, Inc. (Elavon), holding executive positions as CTO and CIO at different times.
Earlier in his career Mr. Barnett served in Europe as a Cryptologic Engineer with the National Security Agency/Central Security Service for nine years and spent three years with The Mitre Corporation, a federally funded R&D company.
Mr. Barnett holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.
Stewart Brooks
Chief Financial Officer
Stewart Brooks serves as CFO of Acculynk. He has extensive financial experience working with companies ranging in revenues from $3 million to $1.5 billion. Drawing on that experience, Stewart founded a small CFO services firm in 2001 that evolved into AcuityCFO by meeting the financial services needs of numerous small and mid-market companies throughout Georgia. Previously, Stewart spent five years as the chief financial officer for an Inc 500 technology services organization. His experience also includes leadership roles with two leading healthcare organizations, handling a broad array of financial responsibilities including ground-up development of finance departments, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, financial third-party relationships and risk management.
Since founding AcuityCFO, Stewart has been CFO of numerous early and growth stage businesses throughout Georgia, working heavily in technology services, software, transportation, real estate and manufacturing. During this time, he has provided leadership in debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ERP implementations, and other strategic initiatives.
Ulrike Guigui
Executive Vice President, Issuer Development
As Executive Vice President, Issuer Development, Ulrike Guigui is responsible for fostering partnerships with the top U.S. bank issuers, and setting the company’s strategic direction with U.S. and global EFT networks. Ms. Guigui has extensive experience in the consumer finance and payments industries, in Europe and North America, most recently at MasterCard.
Prior to joining MasterCard she worked at GE Money for seven years in marketing and business management roles across GE Money’s European and US platforms. Among other positions, she was Managing Director of GE’s largest auto financing business and went on to build a credit card business in Switzerland. Ms. Guigui started her career as a management associate at Citibank where she held a number of roles over her ten year tenure in marketing and managing credit cards in Europe and the US as well as serving as marketing manager for the Private Bank across EMEA.
Ms. Guigui holds a dual undergraduate degree, a BA in European Business Administration and a Diplom Betriebswirt. She also holds an MBA degree from Syracuse University which she attended as a Fulbright scholar.
Tom Wilkerson
Vice President, Business Development
As Vice President, Business Development, Mr. Wilkerson is responsible for sales, merchant outreach, business development and partnership acquisition. He has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and technology project management, and a history of proven success building and leading teams and generating revenue as a senior manager at Andersen Consulting (Accenture), an area manager at Oracle Corporation, a managing director at Richards Interactive, the Vice President of Sales at Advanced Software (ASC) and the General Manager of eVentures at National Chemsearch (NCH).
His business background includes extensive experience building and deploying Internet e-Commerce applications, Internet marketing and Internet payments and payment processing. In his prior role at Pay By Touch, he developed extensive relationships throughout the Internet merchant and payments community.
Danielle Duclos
Director of Marketing
Danielle Duclos focuses on partner outreach, public relations, sales development and marketing for Acculynk. Ms. Duclos has over 10 years of experience helping small to mid-size companies commercialize and market early-stage, cutting edge technologies. She previously spent 7 years with Foresight Science & Technology, a boutique consultancy in Providence, Rhode Island, specializing in technology transfer. Ms. Duclos served as Director of Training, where she ran a multi-million dollar federal government contract to assist companies write business plans, formulate commercialization and marketing strategies, and compete for up to $1M in private and government funding.
Ms. Duclos has worked with over 400 companies in diverse industries such as defense, consumer goods, nanotechnology, software and biotechnology. Ms. Duclos has also provided private consulting to clients in the retail, software, telecommunications and agricultural industries. Ms. Duclos holds an MBA from the University of Georgia. |
